Class Cancelled this Saturday, November 6th

I got a call last night that the studio will be undergoing some spraying for bugs and termites this Saturday, so our class is being cancelled. I'm very sorry to tell you without much notice, but I'd rather have you be safe and away from fumes. :) So, no class Saturday, November 6th.

We will have class November 13th. I am going to bring a copy of our video and some treats for the last 15 minutes or so of class. You gals did a GREAT job on Saturday!! I got a TON of positive comments. I know some of you were scared and worried, but you did a great job!!! Everyone at the studio loved it. Some people even asked me where you all went after the show because they wanted to tell you what a fun dance it was! Way to go! I am very proud of you! I'll be posting it on the blog as soon as I can figure out how to do that. :)

As far as the rest of November goes, we will not have class on November 20th or 27th due to the Thanksgiving/Fall break. We will start up back in December on December 4th.

Money for November will just be the $15 for the November 13th class.

Halloween Show was AMAZING!

Majestic Ballroom Youth did a GREAT job on October 30th with their dance performance at Ambiant Studios! I got a TON of positive feedback. The crowd loved it! I hope you weren't too nervous to hear the cheering. :) I am very proud of you all!

Getting ready to perform for Halloween!

Majestic Ballroom will be performing at the Halloween Party at Ambiant Dance on October 30th. They will have a potluck at 7, rumba lesson at 8, and open dancing with a few performances from 9-11. The cost is $10. It should be a TON of fun! Wear your costumes! Prizes will be given out for food and costumes, so get creative!

Classes going strong!

We have been having our Saturday classes for about 2 months now. They are going really well. We could definitely use some more men! Please feel free to come any week. Try it out for a week and see if you like it. We've been doing Foxtrot and Cha Cha. I've got some pretty consistent girls coming, so guys, you'll love the odds:)

Classes Start THIS SATURDAY!

Hi Everyone! Just a reminder that Majestic Ballroom Youth starts THIS SATURDAY! I hope to see you all at 10:00 am at Ambiant Dance Studio in Scottsdale.

We need a FEW GOOD MEN! So, the first two men ages 12-18 to respond to this blog, email, or facebook will get TWO WEEKS of free classes. Ballroom is one of those things that we need guys for, so please come! Let me know if you have any questions!

Classes Start on September 11th!

I am SOOOO excited to announce that we have found a new home for Majestic Ballroom at Ambiant Dance in Scottsdale, Arizona. We will have a lot more room, a great floor and sound system, and at least three shows to perform in a year! I can't wait to get started!

Our first class will be on September 11th. Classes are held on Saturdays from 10:00 am to noon. September fees will be $45 for the month (3 weeks in September) due the first Saturday we meet. This breaks down to be $15 per week or $7.50 an hour. What a steal! Classes will be $60 per month after that.

Traveling North on the 101: Exit Frank Lloyd Wright. Continue north on the access frontage road past the West World entrance. Turn right (east) on BAHIA Dr. and continue past 92nd Street. Make a right into the first driveway. Our building is on the southeast corner of 92nd Street and Bahia Drive.

Traveling South on the 101: Exit Pima Princess (you will be heading south). Continue south on the access frontage road through the first light (Pima/Princess) make a left at the second signal at BELL Road. Take BELL Road east under the freeway and continue to the signal at 91st Street, make a right and head south on 91st. Continue south on 91st to the stop sign (BAHIA). Classes starting up again soon!

Hi friends and students! We will be starting up our ballroom classes again soon. I've been checking out some larger locations and trying to find us a new home. I've got a pretty good lead right now, but I'm still researching. It looks like we'll be able to start up class again in September. I hope you had a GREAT summer!
